I was a volunteer for five years then on the board for 7 years. I chaired every event they had and their major fundraiser The Dallas Collection I chaired twice. They sent 100 Levi’s denim jackets (donated by Levi's) to national Artists, Designers and anyone who wanted to take the jacket and turn it into a wearable work of Art. It was amazing the creations they sent back. We displayed them in silent auction. Then for Dinner, we had a fashion show to present the jackets on stage. The Dallas Collection became one of the events that everyone talked about and encouraged their friends to attend. We donated the money local Agencies working with people living with HIV AIDS.

We displayed them for the silent auction hen did a fashion show to accent the jackets on bodies walking the runway. I chaired that event in 2004 and 2008. We raised $150,000 at the event in 2008. That money we divided up gave to the agencies in Dallas that worked with people who were HIV positive. There are many pictures of this event on my website.

Graduated from Cleburne High school in 1982. Participated in Band (played Coronet freshman year, was on the Rife line sophomore year, Second Drum major junior year and 1st Drum Major senior year), Choir (Tenor), Theater Arts (Leading Man), and Youth in Government (Chief Justice).

Ball Scholarship Recipient to Baylor University for 1982.

Completed 4 years as a Theater Major and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Closed my Junior year as Lucifer in The Tragical History of DR. Faustus. Opened my senior year as Jesus in Godspell.

It included not only Acting, Singing, and Dancing, but we learned Costume Design, Lighting design, Set Design and Construction.

We studied Art History, Furniture History, Costume History and Architecture History which taught us how to design for period pieces. Things that I still use today.
