Responsibilities

• Worked as a Reduction supervisor Technical and Operation in Reduction Line 6 of ALBA of delivering Safety and Production KPIs by Continuous Technical improvement.

• Worked as a member for startup of line -6 DX+ technology and also in normalization team

• Working as a team member for Current ramp up from 460ka to 480ka along with EGA team

• Expertise in Sick pot handling, Shunt and Emergency bas bar installation, Spike detection, High temp pots and abnormal pots handling, Anode problems hunting, Pot stabilization,

• Managing pot line Operations for 424 pot cells (one pot room). Responsible for operational activities as Anode Change, Metal tapping, Beam Raising and Process parameters like Current Efficiency, Metal Purity and specific power consumption.

• Maintaining safety standards at workplace and ensuring compliance of Standard Operating Practices at the shop floor

• Controlling the operational activities of 212 X 2 = 424 pot cells of 475 KA DX Plus ultra-Technology Provide by EGA . The scope of work also covers monitoring and improvement of Current Efficiency, Specific Power consumption, Technical assistance and process improvements for the smelter of pot line 6 of Alba Bahrain.

• Also Worked as a team member for Current ramp up from 460ka to 480ka along with EGA team

• Responsible for preparing and conducting revision of SOP of operations with risk mitigation and Safety, Health and Environment compliance of each procedure.

• Carrying out review and shop floor round as to ensure compliance of SOP of the job, Safety and 5S practices at the shop floor and better alignment of the Team to the BP.

• Leading the team and evaluating pot parameter data and deciding preventive actions to be taken on sick pots for normalization.

• Handling pots in crisis situations
