Review of Tank drawing and associated Piping drawing for current revision in place, Interpretation of weld drawing for current weld symbols and sizes, partial full penetration welds and correct electrodes as per selected material to full fill the requirement of engineering.

Material and weld traceability for Proper documentation as per Project Specification requirements.

Review of Foundation survey prior to laying of Annular/Bottom Plates for settlement Evaluation.

Inspection and verification of foundation before laying the Annular/bottom plates.

Fit up Inspection of Annular & Bottom Plate, Shell plate and Bottom & Top deck floating roof plate.

Vacuum box Inspection of Bottom / Annular Plate prior to Water Filling and Penetrating oil test shell to annular plate weld joint.

Close monitoring the welder performance, repair of welds, initiate preventive and corrective actions.

Review the results of production test Plates in respect to weld parameters, heat input pass thickness, depth of back gouge, no of passes, electrode sizes and mechanical test results to ensure that meets the requirement of project specification.

Verify the daily records of welding consumables usage report of sub-contractors’ latest status on weekly basis.

Interpretation of radiographs as per ASME SEC IX, SEC VIII, ASME B31.3, API 653, API 650 and API 620.

Ensuring the required NDT activities such as Liquid Penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle Test, and Radiography are covered as per codes and Standards.

Review of test packages of Tanks and associated Pipeline as per system limits, coordination to incorporate the project procedures.

Release of completed Pipeline and tank for hydro and pneumatic test after checking required completion.

Verification of settlement during water filling and Hydro testing of tank.

QA/QC- PIPELINE, PIPING, WELDING AND EQUIPMENT

Preparation and submission of Project Management procedures for company approval

Review Contractor’s Method Statements, QC Procedures, ITP and Quality Plan and assist with Aramco, Shell’s, QP’s and Rasgas established Design engineering Practices for construction activities.

Review of vendor Quality manuals, Quality plans, specifications, Procedures, Audit report according to ISO 9001 – 2008 requirements.

Monitor the Delivery of permanent materials and ensure the quality of products, consumables, materials that comply with requirements of established Standards and as per company Specifications.

Review the WPS, Calibration records of Welding machines, Quivers, prior to start up the welding activities and witness of PQR and Welder Qualification Test.

Participated in internal Audits and external Audits and verifying the evidence of corrective actions is taken and closing of NCR.

Review of Daily weld joint summary report, RT Films, NDT reports PWHT, Hardness reports and vendor document registers, inspection schedules and Liaise with Client for review and approval QA/QC documents.

Perform routine surveillance Inspection, monitoring, auditing & assurance of contractor’s site activities (Fabrication, Welding & NDT) in accordance with the Projects and Contractor’s Specifications, ITP and Quality Plans.

Plan & Organize Site inspection activities and ensures the certificates are valid for QC Inspectors, NDT Technician’s and welder’s skill evaluation and maintain the consumables according the standards and Procedures.

Preparation and review of weekly and monthly Inspection reports and monitors the performance of QC Inspectors and NDT Technicians.

Prepare concession requests and submit to Client for approval, wherever implementation is not possible as per project specification. Monitor Inspection activities and issue NCR, FTR wherever violations found.

Verification of Isometric drawing with respect to general arrangement, Piping & Instrumentation drawing and welding data are as per latest Isometric Drawing.

Ensure all Pre-Construction activities, qualification trials are witnessed are approved as necessary and Inspection & Test Plan of each activity are fulfilled and the` Hold Points of the company are completed in due time.

Review and comment upon contractor’s daily Inspection records for activities covered and investigate any anomalies.

Ensuring the weld joints, supports were welded and correct piping materials being used.

Repair follow -up, confirming the line check as per P & ID, Isometric for NDT clearance, punch list preparation and follow up for final completion.

Review and approval of Hydro static Pressure test and Pneumatic pressure test Procedure’s.

Review and release of Test packs for hydrostatic / pneumatic pressure test.

Reviewing the certificates of water quality, calibration of pressure gauge, Pressure relief valve and chart recorders before starts and witnessing of Hydrostatic Pressure/Pneumatic test and ensuring Re-instatements of Piping Systems.

Identification of risks to the quality of work and the completion program and making appropriate solution and ensuring all piping spools are being Pressure Tested in each Test Packs and witnessing for Painting & Insulation as per line clause.
