Responsibilities:
• Mechanical Design Review preparation of electric Handle Assembly with Fitment study of PCA board, Tolerance stack up analysis, FMEA, PQ test plan, PLM Agile support for complete documentation from prototype phase to production release of Handle
• Holder attachment Concept development for Flossing device
• Fitment studies of motors in Handle assembly and modifying the assembly parts (Electronics frame and Bumpers) to fit in the new motors, coordinating with offshore team in evaluating the modified parts with FEA simulations
• Assessment of Handle size range for different drive trains
• CAD study to identify the current LSLs and USLs based on the current Min and Max material conditions for all the Drive train components, moment of Inertia calculation at MMC and LMC and report preparation

• Developing a Wallace Mouth piece-CAD methodology and Tolerance stack up analysis of the assemblies
(Wallace Mouth Piece is 3D tooth Brush which is female replica of 32 Human teeth-Human teeth geometry is very complex. Shape of teeth geometry varies for each person. This tooth brush is specific for each user)
• Product design of plastic parts using Solid works/Pro-E/Creo 3D modelling
• Detailed drawing of electro mechanical parts like plug, housing, Drive train and Electronics Bridge and assemblies in solid works & pro-E with functional dimensioning and GD&T for the ease of manufacturability.
• Tolerance stack up analysis of assemblies and checking the process capability using Monte Carlo simulation
• Maintain and create complete product documentation package including 3D CAD, drawings, component and material specifications, test and verification support documentation, and Bills of Material (BOM) for manufacturers.
• Electronic Documentation (PDM): using PLM (Agile) database for engineering documentation from prototype phase to production of product.
• Day-to-day interaction with Philips Engineers and Suppliers for releasing Engineer change orders (ECO), deviations and Change Requests (CR) for routing the design changes, which ensures timely deliverables for production ramp up.
