WORK EXPERIENCE

Vice President/Paralegal/Executive Assistant to the President/OREO Property Manager/Collection Agent Summerville National Bank Summerville, SC, USA From Jan 1995 to Jan 2020 I worked at a local home town Bank. I participated in weekly past due meetings. I inspected all property owned by the Bank which was previously held as collateral, both residential and commercial real estate, on a loan and that subsequently defaulted. I did weekly inspections on each property to make sure that they were in good and marketable condition. I hired attorneys to handle any litigation brought by the Bank, or in defense of litigation brought against the Bank. I assigned real estate agents to market the properties and monitored their progress. I handled personal and executive matters for the

bank's President and kept him up-to-date on all legal matters, and with regard to the OREO properties. I worked on customer's accounts, from the creditor's point of view, who had filed Bankruptcy. I did calendar and email management. I handled appointment scheduling, travel arrangements, and logistics for the President. I prepared reports, memoranda, and presentations for the Board Meetings and took minutes. I reserved conference rooms, scheduled presentations, confirmed attendance, prepared agendas, and compiled/distributed meeting minutes. My initial duties were to act as a Personal Assistant to Susan Kinard. My initial instructions were to get the office up and running. The office had been closed for a number of years because Susan was finishing her last year of law school and her husband, Bobby, was completing his last year of his term as Mayor of North Charleston. I went through all of their old client files to determine which ones needed to be stored off-site and which ones needed to be stored in the office. I hired a Receptionist. When the Kinards returned to work at the office I worked in my capacity as office manager and paralegal for both of them. I handled all of the bookkeeping for the office and supervised personnel. The practice worked mainly on domestic and criminal law. I drafted correspondence, pleadings and agreements and kept up with the Kinards' calendars. Steadman, Jr., Attorney at Law Charleston, SC, USA From Jan 1991 to Jan 1994 In addition to my other duties as Paralegal and Personal Administrative Assistant to Attorney, Richard A. Steadman, Jr. I worked in my capacity as Office Manager. I handled all accounting for Mr. Steadman's personal account, business account, escrow accounts and title insurance company account. I handled Mr. Norfleet's personal and executive matters including his calendar. I drafted correspondence, pleadings and agreements.
