A little about myself

I grew up in Wyoming, Michigan and graduated from Godwin Heights High School in 1973. I started my 1st full time job 2 weeks out of school at AAA Michigan where I was a domestic travel counselor. I moved to Texas in 1981, started a home cleaning service, and worked part-time as an office manager. I relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1984 and went back to work at AAA Michigan but wanted to be a travel agent. Worked at RCI Travel call center in 1993. In 1994 I started as a receptionist at Century Cellunet via Snelling and Snelling, was hired in for collections then moved into customer service. In 1998 needed a change so I audited home mortgage files at Old Kent Mortgage via Onsite Staffing. In 2001 I had the opportunity to work a 3- month position with Office Staffing for Nextel Communications, Grand Rapids, unfortunately that job ended. In 2001 then moved to Florida and worked at home for Fleet Risk

& Safety Consulting. We ensured our clients kept in compliance with the Department of Transportation. I retired in 2008. Now I am ready to rejoin the workforce part-time. I am interested in travel agent and clerical positions that I can do from I have Windows 10, a printer, internet, and a landline. I’m easy to work with, personable, and I continue to challenge myself. I look forward to hearing from you.
