Summery – I am writing this to express my interest to join as a team member of your prestigious organization.

I have nearly 18 years of industrial experience in leading manufacturing organizations in Sri Lanka and four years of managerial level experience in partnership business in cleaning product manufacturing and marketing.

During my career, I have dedicated myself to achieve organizational goals of above businesses contributing my skills and the knowledge which I gained through my education and work experiences.

I started my career as a Food Chemist, in 2003, at a BOI Company at Mirigama Export Processing Zone and thereafter, I worked for Capital Maharaja Organization and University of Moratuwa. In addition to the above, I have done mini consultation projects for Lanka Ashok Leyland PLC, Hichemicals Pvt Ltd and Golwee Coconut Oil Pvt. Ltd. During the aforementioned period, I have actively participated in new process and product development, quality assurance, implementation and maintaining processes of ISO/SLS/GMP along with commercialization of newly developed products and processes. I am confident that I can use these skills to excel in the position where you would place me in your organization and thereby achieve the goals of the company. Further, I am keen to expose challenging goals and working as a team.

Work Experience

Managing Partner Innorva Consumer Products 2018 March to 2022 May. Initial objective of this was to manufacturing and selling innovative cleaning products to the local market. As the Managing Partner of above business I involved a broad spectrum of activities which required to run a business such as product development, production, quality assurance, labour handling and finance/ marketing. Due to economic downturn of the country, it was decided to close the business

Process and Product Development Chemist.- 2011 Jan to 2017 February SIL- UOM Rubber Product Development Incubator in Chemical and Process Engineering Department in University of Moratuwa. The project mainly focuses to develop new products and processes for non tyre rubber products. During the above period I was able to successfully achieve the following tasks.

Formulation and Process Development for new products for the export market

Implementation of new production processes at factory level through commercial scale trials

Finding or innovating of new materials for the latest formulation developments, and cost reductions for the existing products

Quality assurance especially meet international compliances which being introduced by various international regulatory institutions.

Writing proposals for the finding agencies to fulfill the funding needs for the high cost research and development projects
