Almost in all the positions in which I have worked, I have always been positions of trust. I am well regarded for my vocation, responsibility and loyalty to the work. Although in recent years my work has been in the operations area, I have always liked to see supervising/monitoring the development of applications and databases. Finally, I still consider myself a developer/programmer.
I have 30 years of work experience in Information Technology of which 20 years leading projects that include: definition of work plans and resources, execution of implementation plans, analysis, definition and redesign of processes and development of technology plans. I have more than 20 years of experience with SQL Server Administration, developing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). For 15 years, I have been working in the area of operations, infrastructure and IT. I have experience implementing AWS-Cloud solutions. I also been in charge of managing and operation the production infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, I have experience in the area of technical support. Based on the massive processing of credit information of the entire Peruvian population, a credit indicator was developed based on payment history and behavior. In addition, a predictive score was developed that allowed to offer credits based solely on this information. We partnered with the Goldman Sachs investment group as a financial partner to facilitate the capital to be granted as loans to qualified individuals.
All of this processing was done using Hadoop as a mass processing platform. SQL Server was also used to generate the historical information for the production environment that is located in AWS - Amazon Web Services.
In AWS the main services we used were: EC2, RDS, S3, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, Route33, WAF. I was in charge of the processes of collection, loading and processing of the information that the national banking entity (SBS) reported to us monthly with the credit information of the Peruvian population. It then updated this information in Amazon's cloud.
