•Technical understanding of drawings, materials, joining/welding and practical applications of weld procedures, welder qualifications, non- destructive examination, pressure testing and records turnover process.

•A technical and working knowledge of ASME sect. IX, API 1104, PDO Standards, ASME B31.3, ASME sect. II Part A & C, ASME sect. V, AWS D1.1, BS 5950 Part 2, ASME sect. VIII Div 1 & RIL Standards. WPS, PQR and WQT.

•Inspection activates – Set up, Welding (CS, LTCS, LAS, DSS, SS, AL, CU etc.), NDE, Hardness, PIM, Ferrite test, PWHT, Hydro static testing, Pneumatic testing, Painting etc.

•Preparation / Review of quality Procedures like NDE, PWHT, PMI, Harness Testing,Hydro Testing, Pneumatic Testing, etc.

•Co-ordination with respective Construction Contractor, NDE Agencies, Third Party Inspection Agency, Vendors and Customers as appropriate for inspection activities and Monitoring Contractors for quality program compliance. Participation in Customer Vendor quality review meeting / meeting(s)

•Identifying and orientation the training requirements and arranging training and providing “On job training” to QA/QC Personnel’s.

•Establishing of ITP, WPS, Procedures, Specification & Codes and subsequent monitoring and control.

•Planning, Monitoring and Control of in – process, NDE & final inspection using in houseinspector or Third-Party Inspector as appropriate.

•Perform inspection on incoming materials, assemblies, and consumables for conformance to specification as per standards and project requirements.
