• Designed a novel vacuum insulation panel using ANSYS

• Built prototype by 3D printing

• Evaluated for performance reliability under different conditions using ANSYS

• Fabricated and developed a five-hole pitot tube by casting to replace a conventional pitot tube.

• Tested the prototype using ANSYS and then in the wind-tunnel for design and performance reliability in both the environments

• Results showed improved performance in comparison to data from an already existing conventional pitot tube

Project Lead October 2019

• Proposed and created a small-scale novel resistojet that used water as fuel to produce thrust.

• This resistojet can be used as a main-propulsion unit for rockets sent to space

• Based on the principle that water that is produced as a waste product can be in turn used as fuel

• Prototype tested for the same

Aeromodelling Competition Boeing March 2019

• Fabricated RC aircraft with payload dropping facility for a competition hosted by Boeing

• Implemented hot-wire cutting for airfoils

• Carried a payload of 50g which dropped when needed

• Created a blimp without any internal structure capable of holding payload up to a designated distance.

• Helium gas filled inside to provide lift up to where the payload is required to be dropped

• Camera acted as payload to record the distance travelled by the blimp filled with Helium gas
