Project Value’s is 250 million Srilankan Rupees.

2009 March – 2011 April – Worked as a Industrial Cleaner at Kuwait Swedish Cleaning Services, Kuwait City, Kuwait.

Worked in Major cleaning projects of Universities & Banks. All are 116 storied commercial properties. Total number of cleaners deployed 300 head counts.

2007 August – 2008 August - Production Manager – Smart Shirt Ltd, IPZ, Katunayaka, Sri Lanka.

Managed my teams consists of Sewing, Finishing, Packing, QC department of the factory which is consisting of 550 workers.

Guide and coached production team to ensure execution of performance management based on KPI’s in efficiency, quality, attendance, labor turnover etc.

2005 February – 2007 March – 2 years - Factory Manager – Chipperoni Blankets (Subsidiary of Conforzi Plantations Ltd), Thyolo, Malawi.

Production planning and execution in spinning, weaving, finishing and bailing departments in the factory.

Managed and responsible for the smooth flow of the all operational functions and maintain the department wise efficiency level of the factory to comply with the budgets. Controlled the indirect 250 manning level and 15 direct manning levels.

Planned and estimated and provide technical expertise to procurementation of raw material.

Setting up control system to minimize the raw material wastage during the production process in all departments.

Sales inquires, generating of Purchase Orders and deliveries was handled to the locally based customers.

Managed and was responsible to maintain a 98% first Pass Yield in the final audit of finishes goods and sustains the factory efficiency level above 65% to ensure the factory labor and overhead costs

1985 May – 1994 April – 9 years – Area Production Manager, Star Garments, FTZ, Katunayake, Srilanka.

I was in charge for 6 production lines as Production Executive & subsequently promoted to the Area Manager for one unit to control & look after the production the head counts of 180 workers. There I gained experience of manufacture of ladies wear to the top end US customers.

PROFESSIONAL QULIFICATIONS :

National Diploma in Technology (Textile) - University of Moratuwa. (1981/1984)

During the period of my diploma of textile technology, I was trained on various aspects (Spinning, Weaving and finishing).
