Objective

Qualifications
My work experience includes, but is not limited to, over 15 year’s customer service training,
management and supervisory skills. I am experienced in all aspects of warehousing, including
inventory control, material ordering, purchasing, and material management in remote settings. I can
operate all types of warehouse equipment and tools including a forklift, loader, both stand-up,
sit-down, propane or electric. I have a mechanical aptitude and am very experienced with many types
of inventory accounting and management software. I am a “hands-on” type of person and like to work
outside and am just as happy with a shovel in my hand moving dirt, as I am sitting at a desk using the
computer to create purchase orders or inventory reports. I also have basic computerized accounting
skills, payroll and billing experience, excellent communication skills, extensive shipping, receiving,
and logistics experience, most of this experience gained while working on major construction projects
throughout Alaska.
● I am NSTC and TWIC certified and have several years of the unique safety training utilized in the
oilfields of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This training has helped to instilled safety as a top priority when
completing or supervising any task or job.
● I am trained on several computer programs including Tool-Watch, CMMS, Oracle, Microsoft
Word, Excel, SAP, Fleet Focus, Brio, Smart-stager and many other types of basic and specialized
computer accounting and reporting software.
● I am able to learn and utilize in an efficient way, all types of computer reporting software,
programs, and new equipment with minimal training time.
● I am able to operate safely various types of forklifts, both electric and propane, zoom-boom
forklifts, front end loaders, and most any other equipment used in a warehouse or any on-site
remote staging area.
● I am able to operate office equipment and office tools proficiently and safely.
● I have a mechanical aptitude and am able to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, with
little or no supervision.
● I am organized, persistent, professional, flexible and thoughtful of others when following direction
from supervisors and implementing new procedures and changes within my current work
environment.
● I have a clean driving record and a valid Alaska driver’s license.
● I have an extensive material-handling background, most of it in Alaska’s unique and unpredictable
shipping environment. This includes in-town sites and also remote locations.
● I am familiar with the purchasing process used by the larger corporations when purchasing
materials for capital projects and use to working within a budget.
● I was in charge of maintaining and distributing material status reports in Excel and Brio, while
working on several components of a major capital project. These reports were utilized by the
different contracting companies that were involved in special projects. It would give them up to
date information concerning material delivery dates, material staging locations, vendor info, and
other pertinent information crucial to completing the project on time and within budget.
● I have lived in Alaska for over 35 years and I am willing to travel and spend extended periods of
time in remote areas and work sites.
● I have experience as a buyer for several large oil and gas companies, providing logistics and
construction materials, while successfully overseeing the mobilization and demobilization of
operational support sites, offices and warehouses for several large and small projects contracted by
major corporations within Alaska.
● I am committed and capable of learning my job duties quickly, efficiently and as effectively as
possible especially when starting a new career or position.
● I am able to follow directions from my supervisors, lead a team in a positive and professional
