I took an opportunity to support a former colleague as independent consultant supporting a few of his clients that he was unable to support. I was able to help customers in different verticals reduce logistics costs using Lean Methodologies and project management techniques.

Industrial: Implemented solutions to reduce transportation spend resulting in $1.2 million by a combination of mode shifting, improving replenishment strategy to the 7 DCs.

Industrial: Implemented facility reconfiguration recommendations to reduce labor by 15% in 3 facilities.

Consumer Package Goods Facility: Led the effort to reconfigure and reslot warehouse operation to improve pick velocity and reduce labor. They were 100% manual but with a few small investments, we saw the labor start dropping by 10% the first few months and stabilities at around 17%. The focus was on reducing overtime and creating a continuous flow to support Month-end heavy activity.
