Project EPC Value: USD 283 Million

Scope of Work: Detail Design, Engineering, Procurement & Construction and Commissioning.

Project Overview

Lukoil Mid-East Limited (COMPANY) planned to develop its upstream production facilities and infrastructure to meet a target production in the West Qurna-2 oil field in Southern Iraq, 64 km westwards from Basrah. The West Qurna-2 layout configuration has been arranged using the Central Processing Facilities (CPF) plus clustered oil production wells philosophy, so that the clusters (Well Pads) grouping a specific number of oil production wells and geographically distributed across the field on a strategic manner, are interconnected through an extended gathering system, to bring all the produced fluids into CPF. Mishrif Central Processing Facility (CPF) receives and separates the associated Gas, Oil and Water produced

from the Mishrif Fields. The produced water is suitably treated and then used as source for water injection on

the well pads for the reservoir pressure maintenance. All the utilities required for the CPF facilities operation

are internally produced with dedicated units.

Each of the Mishrif Well Pads will also serve as the area to allocate a specific number of water injection wells

which are to be feed by a number of high-pressure water injection pumps, plus stand-by unit, working in

parallel and distributing the water into each injection well using manifolds.
