• Management: Responsible for all aspects of the functioning of Greenville operations which includes customer service, research and development, production, and administrative areas. Responsible of meeting corporate aims in such areas as productivity, employee health and safety, budgeting, cost containment, and quality.

• Principal Duties: Inform facility managers and team leaders of corporate objectives and develop plans and processes to meet goals. Responsible for the efficient and safe operations of production to minimize cost and maximize profitability through direction and supervision of plant personnel and the implementation of innovative manufacturing techniques. In conjunction with corporate technical director(s), coordinate technical interchange between sales/marketing and R&D personnel regarding specific products to prioritize R&D development. Act as an internal liaison for outside sales and marketing personnel to assist them with customer support. Monitor employee safety performance and ensure that operations follow accepted safety, health and environmental standards. Review and coordinate communication as necessary with purchasing, production, and operations. Manage and support the Quality Management System, and ensure that required certifications are maintained. Manage all activities to meet corporate goals. Provide requested reports in a timely manner to Corporate Headquarters. Interview, hire and terminate employees as necessary. Position: Senior development Chemist/Plant Chemist.

• Management: Manage two Laboratory Technician for the development of new products, testing of existing products according to customer specifications, taking care of customer complaints and every day laboratory tasks. Manage the Quality Control Department, in charge of testing production material to different customer specification as well as incoming raw materials. Manage the production and the new development color departments to synchronize with Customer Service, Production, and Shiping departments the daily product shipments and new color developments requests by existing and potential new customers.

• R&D Laboratory: Developed new coating technologies such as 1K and 2K waterborne technology

(Acrylic-PUD) accordingly to interior aerospace specifications, in compliance and approved by an external certified Laboratory to FAR 25.853 flammability tests, chrome-free epoxy primers, epoxy for composite materials and TSR (total solar reflectance) polyurethane gloss topcoats and base coat clear coat system for qualification to major aircraft specifications such us Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, Embraer and Northrup Grumman and Gulfstream.

• Quality Control: Acted as the quality control supervisor in the laboratory, working with the quality department to ensure that all products complied with Aircraft manufactures specifications and all customer test reports and certifications were generated correctly. Worked with the Quality Manager to write and modify quality procedures and followed through their implementation in support of the ISO certification process.

• Customer Support: Assisted customers by phone, e-mail and by traveling to their facilities in support of the application of coatings on aircraft, assisting paint applicators and solving in situ problems around the country and overseas. • R&D Laboratory: Developed new coating technologies such as chrome-free epoxy primers and TSR (total solar reflectance) polyurethane gloss topcoats for qualification to major aircraft specifications such us Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, Embraer and Northrup Grumman. Developed interior waterborne coatings technology in compliance with all internal FAR flammability testing in conjunction with external certified laboratories. Prepared and conducted seminars and presentations for employee training.
