PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores, Tulsa and Oklahoma City

District Manager then Area Operations Manager (March of 2018 to November of 2022)

I started out with 7 locations as a District Manager where I increased sales and profits and led the stores through the onset of the COVID outbreak. I did so well that they then promoted me to Area Operations Manager where I started out with 23 stores and then we proceeded to build 5 more in the Yukon/Mustang area. I take pride in building teams through establishing relationships where everyone feels comfortable adding to the success of the team. Developing people is one of my greatest passions!

Jack in the Box (JIB), Tulsa, OK

District Manager then Director of Operations (November 2011 – Present)

Responsible for taking an underperforming Tulsa market and transforming the market to one of the most profitable in the region. As a result of my efforts I was promoted to Director of Operations in 2016 to cover Denver, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Tulsa markets. JIB was looking for someone with the experience to turn restaurants and markets around. As a Director of Operations I covered 36 restaurants in 6 states. As the markets expanded and grew Jack in the Box sold them to franchisees to continue to grow the markets.

All American Drive-Ins, Tulsa, OK

President (2008 - 2011)

Responsible for running a start up franchisee of A&W Restaurants where the main focus of the position is to find potential locations, coordinate store openings, work with the franchisor on marketing plans, develop people and produce financial statements. Over the last two years at AADI, worked with the management team to go from nothing to building and operating three locations, investing $5.5 million in land and buildings.

ATLAS PIPELINE, Tulsa, OK

Manager, Procurement & Facilities (2007-2008)

Responsible for ordering and coordinating the logistics of pipeline equipment and supplies to worksites for five business units, executing general service agreements, assisted in monitoring the operator qualification program as well as developed, implemented and managed an on-boarding process for new employees. Worked extensively with vendors to bid out projects to reduce expenses on projects, coordinate logistics schedules and held vendors accountable for bad products and/or services.

SONIC RESTAURANTS, INC. / SONIC DRIVE-IN, Edmond, OK

Supervising Partner (2007)

Managed eight acquired Sonic Drive-In restaurants that were underperforming in terms of operations, sales and profits. Within the first three months our team was able to stop the downhill slide by providing training for the management staff and setting achievement goals and objectives. Managed a project to retrofit and updated the facilities to get each location back into compliance with all health code standards. At the eight-month mark, four of the eight locations were making money again and all eight locations were back on sales increase projections.

Project Manager (2005-2007)

Responsibilities as the Project Manager for Sonic were extensive and listed below:

●Worked with equipment vendors to reduce the equipment package cost for new stores by 27%.

●Worked with security providers to reduce the cost of security services and equipment that allowed Sonic to capture and prosecute on security breaches which reduced the cost of doing business.

●Provided leadership training to all store level general managers.

●Worked with different departments to form project teams to incorporate change initiatives.

●Developed a program to track the performance of all 640 locations that were then used to analyze what variables aided in driving sales and profits.

●Developed operations manuals for drive-thru operations and 24-hour operations.

●Aided in developing and coordinating an annual convention where I developed and presented PowerPoint presentations to approximately 2000 people.

Managing Partner (2001-2005)

When I took over this restaurant in 2001 it was considered a top performing store. When I left the restaurant after four years, it was considered to be elite. Four of the five years this location grew sales each year by over $100,000. Profits grew by over 10% each of the four years. By focusing the training program around operations and customer service we were able to develop five assistant managers that went on to become general managers of their own restaurants. During my time at this location, sales were increased by over $600,000 and profits increased by 29%. I received the following awards:

General Manager (1998-2001)

This location in 1998 had annual sales of $650,000 with profits approximately $50,000 per year. In four years, the annual sales exceeded $850,000 and profits soared to just over $190,000 for fiscal year 2000. At this location, I developed one assistant manager who went on to become a general manager. I received the following awards:

I began my career at Chick-fil-A as a dish washer and within a year I worked my way up to an assistant manager. When I arrived at the restaurant the annual net sales were just over $400,000 and the store was losing money. When I left in 1998 the annual net sales were just over $1 million in net sales and the store was putting just under $200,000 on the bottom line. While at Chick-fil-A I received extensive training on customer service, operations and leadership. While at this location I received the following awards:
