Resume:

Kristina Maynez Rodeo, CA ***** advdtx@r.postjobfree.com 510-***-****

I’m looking to obtain a challenging position in a professional environment. A position that is growth-oriented, allowing me to utilize previous experience as well as an opportunity to acquire new skills.

Work Experience

Team Leader/Supervisor

SAS Retail Services - East Bay, CA

May 2022 to Present

As the lead merchandiser, I lead associates in the merchandising process, ensuring compliance to standards and goals and keeping the team on task. I am primarily responsible for ensuring plans and changes to schedules are adhered to while exceeding client expectations and business needs and manage the day-today tasks of my associates for the duration of all assignment. My role requires me to effectively communicate with my team, my Trainer, my Supervisor and the retailer. I’m responsible for executing special projects, making decisions to release, cancel or defer work based on current available labor, priority ranking, inventory, capacity and material availability.

Merchandising Supervisor

The Home Depot - Emeryville, CA

February 2016 to September 2021

This role had many responsibilities to ensure my team met the metrics expected by our Vendors and MET. My team consisted of any where from 9 to 18 associates at all times. I had to monitor each associate on a timely basis throughout the day ensuring each day was completed within the expected parameters to reach a hundred percent by the end of the week. One of the most important task was assigning the right associate to the correct task according to their skill set for efficient execution. Daily tasks included Bay Service, BIT, Projects, servicing specific showrooms and any other unexpected tasks ensuring all were accomplished. I worked side by side with the store to reach our common goals. Establishing a solid partnership with the Store Manager, Assistant Managers, Receiving and each department is essential for the store and the merchandise team to be successful in meeting the upcoming deadlines for all resets, projects and big events. Communication and coordinating times so each party is able to execute their part of mutual deadlines and safely stage product pallets and clearing an area for reset is crucial for successful execution. I successfully managed a team in District 49 which has the highest volume stores in the region. During my time with Home Depot I had the opportunity to manage a team in both a High Volume and a Low Volume store reaching and maintaining the required expectations in both.

Merchandising Associate

The Home Depot - Sacramento, CA March 2013 to February 2016

Started as a part time merchandise associate servicing bays on a daily basis. Working to meet the expectations of each of the different Vendors. Within 6 months I was assigned to BIT (Bay Integrity tasking) where I was responsible for all daily price changes and sale ads each week. I was offered a full time position within 6 months on a new Overnight Reset team. Home Depot selected our district to be part of the test pilot to see if it would increase project execution time. This team was responsible for all the heavy resets that were difficult to do during normal business hours. Projects were assigned nightly to reset bays according to the current assigned planogram. We set the steel structure, merchandising the shelves according to the schematics, sequenced the bay and Correctly priced the product. We installed displays and fixture as necessary ensuring the project was executed 100%. During down time we would set bays to the assigned planogram that currently weren't set 100%. I remained on this team until I transferred to the Bay Area in 2016.
