Health and Safety Plan (HASP) preparation for field activities associated with the Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) at the Del Monte Corporation (Oahu Plantation) Superfund Site (Del Monte Site) in Kunia, Oahu, Hawaii. (1996)
Provide health and safety support to Los Alamos National Laboratories (LANL). Prepare and review programs such as General Health and Safety, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Bloodborne Pathogen, and hazard communication. (1997)
Support semiconductor manufacturing. Developed thermal safety procedures for loss-control employees working near deposition furnaces, handling heated quartz boats, etc. Prepared report on potential health hazards of semiconductor production at Intel Corporation’s Fab 4 and 5 facilities in Aloha, OR. (1984) Support regional utility company. Developed a loading procedure for trucks loading at a major coal-fired power plant in Wyoming operated by Pacific Power and Light. Unplanned Chlorine Release; Evaluated events and actions associated with personnel exposure during an unplanned release of chlorine at wood products industry site. Performed regulatory review and plume dispersion modeling. (August, 2000)
Ozone Exposure in Private Home; Evaluated potential for ozone exposure associated with use of an "ozone generator" in a private home. Performed onsite air monitoring for ozone. (July, 2000) Paint and Body Shop; Evaluated work environment of an automotive paint and body repair facility involving isocyanate exposure. Performed regulatory review and onsite ventilation study. Served as expert witness, Chelan County, WA. (June, 2000)
Factory Trawler; Evaluated vessel-based medical, bloodborne pathogen, tuberculosis, and ventilation issues allegedly associated with an employee illness. Performed shipboard ventilation study and regulatory review. (May, 1996)
Office Building Owner; Evaluated chemical indoor air quality issues allegedly associated with office employee illness. Performed on-site study and regulatory review (April, 1996). Heavy Equipment Manufacturer; Evaluated safety, biometrics and regulatory issues associated with a penetrating eye injury.
