DAILY WORK

● Working along with the Medical director, Consulting Nephrologists and residents to plan diets for patients undergoing all renal diseases; educate them about following diets customized for their particular medical conditions and educating other healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses and dialysis therapists).

● Understanding the patient's individual medical conditions and prescribed treatment from the respective doctor.

● Investigate the current eating habits; recommend a dietary plan that would address the medical and nutritional needs; and would supplement their treatment

● Counsel and educate them on the benefits of following the prescribed diet

● Monitor patients’ diets continuously; have regular meetings to ensure that they are following the prescribed diet

● Handle patients in the Out Patient Department; educate and advise them with diet-related disorders on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits.
