Over the past twenty-five years working in the various positions, I mastered the art of time management customer service skills, effective speaking and communication. Perform data entry tasks on different software programs. Acquired various skills in management, administration and adjudication functions of various lines of benefits, life health and pension.
Communicating effectively with clients, brokers, hospital personnel. Addressing and solving different issues that presented on different levels for a vast number of clients.

I am able to administer, adjudicate manage and settle both individual life and health plans, group life and health as well as pension plans. I am very knowledgeable on both the administration and adjudication aspects of these benefit lines.
Upon early retiring in December 2021, I made my exit feeling fulfilled knowing that I made an enormous contribution to the company Maritime Life Caribbean Limited, their vision providing Exceptional Service and to be the number one client focused, service driven organization in the Caribbean.
DUTIES AND ACHEIVEMENTS:
As one of the senior personnel within the department I formed an integral part in the proper function of the department, which resulted in my achieving a percentage of ninety plus on my annual Appraisals
Administer, process, adjudicate review and approve individual life, health and Pension benefits in accordance with the policy contract.
On many occasions settlements were paid to the clients within the normal processing times or before, resulting in a more satisfied clientele.
Maintain proper records, data entry, thereby easy access to client, claim, coverage information which made it easily accessible when the need arose.
Conduct on-board training sessions for new financial advisors providing a better understanding of the product they are selling.
Maintaining effective communication among key personnel
Assist clients in verifying coverage with medical providers assessing and approving claims settlements
Preparation of cheque settlement to clients / processing payments directly into their bank accounts
Preparation of monthly reports
Underwrote Group Life and Health applications for proposed benefit holders
Prepared quotations for Group Life and Medical plans directly or through brokers and agents
Issued policy documents and endorsements,
Administered Group Pension Plans
Manage records and perform data entry functions for group life and health benefits
Issued certificates, identification cards, and booklets for plan enrollees
Ensured proper processing of enrollee policy contract documents and endorsements
Responded to customer queries and made service visits to both companies and Hospitals
Generated monthly commission, prepared and disbursed cheques to Brokers and Financial Advisors
Generated and reconciled monthly premium statements
Held briefings with brokers and plan administrators regarding plan specifications and benefits
Provided quality service to assigned portfolio to ensure proper installation of new plans
