Project: VRVSS – DOHMH – NYC Feb 2020 to Feb 2021

Veterinary Rodent Vector Surveillance System for NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, multiple module part in the application facilitate the inspection/work order/Animal exhibits/investigation/survey for pesticide control unit, vector unit and Veterinary unit. Also routine seasonal survey for all unit in NYC locations. Technically the application uses Arc GIS for locating on map for the site inspector/exterminators.

Pest Control unit carry out the interior/exterior inspection of rodent and others for NYC property owners. VRVSS facilitate creation of job routing to the inspector for inspection. Inspector can download the job in handheld application takes to the site for conducting inspection.

Two part of application developed and associate both to sync by itself when connected. ASP.NET Web application works for routine job, special job, 311 phone complaints, and other types are created and ready to route for the inspector. Supervisor can route these jobs and approve once got back the inspection result from inspector. Supervisor can also print the inspector report, summons to the owner of the property.

Technically, handheld application developed in WPF using MVVM architecture which works on portable device with SQL Express as backend. In this app user can download routed jobs, capture information by conducting inspection/work order/Survey/SupCheck/QA Check get stored in local device database. Once connected to office network, user can upload all works to Web server database.

Similarly, Vector modules which facilitating for inspecting standing water job, Bees & Wasps job, routine work order, clean up work order, survey jobs. Veterinary unit investigate Animal bites, rabies observation, dangerous dog investigation, horses tag info, Surveys.

They process member enrollment, member renewal, claim uploading, claim adjudicating, and conversion data to HIPAA complaint with vendors, MEDS process and, Claim payment process. Since Centercare is acquired by Fidelis, data conversion and business object services integrated between them are handled in BizTalk Server.

Designed and implemented applications using UI ASP.NET Application using Dynamic Server Controls, CSS, JavaScript, C#.NET integrates with Web Service Business Objects.
