Parvathy has more than 10 years of experience with various Healthcare organizations within Doha, Qatar. Since Nov 2021, she has been working as a Research Quality Compliance and governance specialist in the Research and Governance office of Sidra Medicine and is responsible for ensuring Sidra’s research activities by various other organizations comply with applicable federal, state, sponsor and policies in the areas of human subjects, animal care, and use Non- human and human operations, biosafety, research misconduct and the responsible conduct of research. She analyzes existing policies to ensure their organizations’ regulatory compliance. She also recommends the leadership teams on the current company’s compliance with laws and regulations through reports and findings. She has developed checklists and reported findings and proposed new policies and helped in refurbishing the current policies that help in standardizing measures for compliance and has personally conducted compliance reviews to ensure that both laboratory and hospital/clinical premises are conducted with valid approvals and protocols. •October 2020 – October 2021, Project Management Specialist – at Primary Healthcare Corporation and was accountable for managing the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance process and periodic projects (AD-HOC); She determines if all the current Healthcare projects are aligned with the Integrated system and model of care. She managed various project monitoring processes, change requests, and maintenance of healthcare/non-healthcare projects within PHCC; was responsible mainly for the project closure process that includes analysis, documentation, and post-implementation of each business area; led projects by creating a timeline identifying key milestones and additional resources when needed; completed, tracked and managed system change requests related to various projects; worked for national projects as a Site Manager where along with her team, she had also planned, directed and managed the operations of various projects like COVID-19 mass vaccination, FIFA ARAB CLUB 2020 & HH AMIR CUP and AFC FINALS 2020. She along with her team carefully formulated health policies and strategies per national needs and objectives and took necessary action to adopt them during the mass COVID-19 Vaccination program in QNCC. She documents methodologies, procedures, and lesson learned which was provided through every project lifecycle, updates them in coordination with similar new projects along with internal and external (GSAS) feedback survey concerning distinctive projects where there is a third party involved.
•May 2016 – December 2019, was a Project Manager(Healthcare) for the CEO of Hamad General Hospital where she suggested Quality and Patient safety health outcomes for treatment and prevention of health issues as a part of Qatar Public Health Strategy 2017-2022, vision and mission statement of the organization. She has several times added to strategic discussions regarding the planning processes to enhance the effectiveness of the implementation of corporate strategies through the latest edition of JCI(Joint commission international) – GLD Chapters and successfully provided training and education sessions to the C-Suite execs. She is specialized in analyzing existing policies in accordance with JCI Chapters and making sure that policies are aligned with relevant goals and objectives in the current health system. Consults with both internal (Governance and leadership committee)and external stakeholders(IHI, JCI, Partners) to ensure the inclusion of all relevant factors. Parvathy along with her QPS Team analyses the main risks of each unit and updates the risk records system in Cerner and shares them with dept quality staff in agreement with the concerned policies.
•August 2013 – April 2016, was a Programme Assistant for the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) where along with her mentors from IHI, they have identified opportunities for the entire organization as per the patient population through effective planning and development of structured healthcare plan after which each organization within HMC was effectively allocated and set up resources including people, activities, projects, and training facilities. During her tenure with IHI, she made sure that the right amount of care is provided to all patients effectively and efficiently. After being carefully trained by the IHI, she proposed plans for developing various work systems (SBAR, SAFETY HUDDLE) that helped the dept to simplify procedures. Assess the patient population by studying and analyzing the population's health needs to identify issues of priority, in cooperation with the concerned administrative dept. Prepare health policy proposals by international best practices and take the necessary measures to adopt them in line with the national development needs and objectives. She also provides annual data and information(HSPA reports, dashboards, Quality performance reports)on the quality of its services to stakeholders. Parvathy takes a key role in studying the quality concern issues, carefully examining the causes using tools that she was trained by the IHI, suggesting suitable solutions to the key stakeholder to facilitate access to care and access information about patient care services.
