- Mechanical Calculations (determination of the diameter of pipes and accessories according to the fluid and design conditions (pressures and temperatures), flexibility due to high temperatures, supports, thermal insulation, coating, capacity and dimensions of the equipment, among other activities
- Equipment Specifications. It deals with the technical specifications for receiving technical and commercial offers in order to carry out the procurement phase, which includes the technical data sheets.
- Preparation of the PI&D showing the characteristics of the process, specifications of pipes, valves, fittings and mechanical equipment (instrumentation includes those related to instruments and control systems)
-Preliminary drawings with pipelines route and location of equipment for the elaboration of the final drawings and isometric
