Processes – Designed Warehouse Management System Standard Operating Procedures for AS400/Infor WMS/SAP ITF, AssisTics and Adage. Training instructor for all ERP change overs.
AS400 – INFOR WMS – SAP (ITF)
1-Trained over 200 employees in 7 domestic warehouses.
2-Implemented cycle count material procedures covering weekly, monthly and quarterly counts. Monitored variance and location completion percentages.
3-Warehouse layout – Optimized picking and put away by assigning fixed bins. Picking accuracy through replenishments. Put away configuring material master data file into specific areas within warehouse. Set up locations specifically for RWRK and DISP material. FIFO/LIFO picking processes put into place.
4-RF Scanner set up from initial sign in, warehouse procedures (picking, receiving, cycle counting, pallet put away, loading, bills of lading, packing list and international commercial invoice).
5-Project leader for bi-annual physical inventories. 85% variance reduction due to the cycle counting program added to operations.
6-Created SOP’s for all change overs used in training.
7-Created reports using Power BI and WMS.
Safety Excellence
1-No loss time injury over the last 25 years. Managed over 125 non direct reports and over 80 direct reports.
2-Employee turnover less than 2%.
Back Order Reduction
1-Installed fail/safe steps in order quantity checks. 93% reduction in back orders.
2-Successful in initiating a 5 day lead time to 24 hour. Worked with Production, Research Development, Quality Assurance, Distribution and Customer Service departments to provide a 24 hour order turn around process while maintaining a 93% on time delivery.
Import of Raw Material
1-Managed and sourced out vendors a saving of $3.0 million annually.

Cross training increased the interaction of departments and sustained the importance of safety.
