I have * years experience as a welder but to extend what is on my resume, I have worked 4 years at the syncrude site in Fort McMurray as well with Shell/CNRL for 1 year. Recently I was employed by Weldco Heavy Industries where I was given my own task or worked close with a team on various dump bodies, truck frames and clams.. At these sites I experienced completing tasks with quick turnarounds or tasks needing more care to make sure every detail was met. The time spent working on, or near heavy equipment has helped me grasp a much better understanding of the equipments maintenance, as well as the safety protocols of myself, my co-workers and our task at hand. Understanding my responsibilities is important to me and my work environment as it helps when problems are in need of solutions or questions need answering or more important to be on the same page with everyone.
