Major Duties:

Serves as alter ego to the District Superintendent, fully sharing the duties, responsibilities, and operation of the assigned District Office or District Field Office. Provides educational leadership and administrative direction to school administrators and teachers within the district field area.

Supervises and evaluates performance of assigned district or field office staff. Identifies training and developmental needs of subordinates and works with the area office in arranging for appropriate training or developmental assignments.

Coordinates with Forward Integrated Support Team (F.I.S.T.) and command officials on facility planning, funding, and accomplishment of facilities projects, on a short and long-term basis.

I translate DoDEA regulations to employees and the public at large. I administer regulations and related licensure information and processes to employees and the

public. Supervise Licensure Associate in assigned duties. I analyze and pre-screen credentials for prospective administrative/instructional licensure and credentialing additions. I review and maintain documentation for DoDEA regulation changes in licensure and provide counsel on advanced degrees in education for administrative/instructional staff and the public. I coordinate with regional headquarters personnel for new endorsement/curriculum area requirements.

Some of the essential tasks I have performed related to Human Resources and Licensure are:
