Focusing on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Positive effects it has on a company.

Communication abilities for academic and career purposes. Memo-Researched a company's diversity & inclusion programs and how to improve them. Wrote a mock memo for a company's employees and how a new program will affect them and the company environment. Wrote a persuasive email to company leaders about my new implementation and those this would improve the inclusion within the company.

Funding Proposal- as a group we explored a large issue affecting our college campus and crafted both a professional funding proposal and presentation. We chose stress in the STEM department and looked at how we could improve conditions. Statistics and Probabilities

Looks at best data practices for collecting quality data. Using probability models to describe different actions which give the probabilities of each event. R programming language- I have used it to perform simulations with formulas and import data to perform summary statistics showing the data in a meaningful way.

Monte Carlo- simulation-Used to estimate outcomes of an uncertain event. Used in R to calculate probabilities of different events.

Software Development and Algorithms

Used different software for best practices in relation to testing, data structures, and the analysis of algorithms. Al to solve the needed problem.

Version Control-worked in a group using subversion to collaborate on projects. Abe to share the screen and repository to make edits to our code and work through assignments together. Automated Testing-Used in every project to implement JUnit testing by testing individual methods and if they had the expected results. Tested using the best practice including boundary cases, routine cases, and challenging cases.
