Manager Material Management Alcoa/Fluor Alliance Material Management Team: General Procurement and contract assignments supporting the ALCOA smelter and plant facilities. Since June 2005, assumed procurement and contract responsibilities for all APGI/ALCOA hydro-power facilities at eight (8) ALCOA Power Generation Inc. dam sites, executing a modernization plan for their century old facilities.

services to support the construction of Power Generation Plants throughout the United States. Commercially responsible for the negotiations, placement, and administration of Combustion and Steam Turbine, Electrical Power Distribution Equipment, and other major equipment packages. Four (4) year emphasis on interfacing with General Electric Turbine division, Schenectady, NY and Greenville, SC. Responsibilities included, contract terms & conditions negotiation; participation in equipment technical definition; execution of contract from award to shipment; enforcement of contract terms relative to payment schedules, shipment documentation, and equipment performance guarantees.

Recent experience includes negotiation of an $88 million contract with GE for Combustion Turbines to support the Immingham, UK. (CONOCO) project for D/FD Camberley Office. (April - June 2001)

Procurement Manager for KAISER MICRO-MILL Project located at client’s facilities, Pleasanton, CA.

Procurement of all equipment including Furnaces, high-speed winding, and material handling equipment for "proprietary" prototype aluminum can plant. Greenville Engineering and Project Management were located to the California facility. Plant was eventually built in Reno, NV by Fluor.

Responsible for the purchase of a variety of material and equipment, including two (2) LM2500 packaged Turbines from Dresser-Rand Norway, in support the RAYONG Refinery Project, Thailand (Grass roots, multi-billion dollar). Client was Royal Dutch Shell.
