EXPERIENCE
Jul 21-13-Present Community Support Program Coordinator, JBSA (AETC) ; I currently serve as the principal advisor to the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Commander and it’s leadership, consisting of 39 General Officers, on Airmen, Sailors, Soldiers, Marines and Coast Guardsmen Family and Community Readiness issues with responsibility to providing installation expertise, guidance and advice to leaders from all service components and government officials while serving as the Community Action Information Board (CAIB) Executive Director. Plans, organizes and direct the activities of the JBSA CAIB, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met as well as the needs of the JBSA military members, family members and community. Directs activities for Comprehensive Airmen Fitness (CAF) Initiative; Community Action Plan (CAP) ; Status of Health and Resilience Exchange (SHARE) and Caring for People activities. Serves and the JBSA installation Integrated Service Delivery (IDS) Chairperson for a 104 person working group team assigned to accomplish CAIB requirements by managing assigned resources in collaboration with internal/external agencies. Oversees and executes budget requirements for JBSA relevant to CAF initiatives. Acquires communications, automated feedback mechanisms, and computer systems to collect, transmit, analyze, portray and integrate cross functional, programmatic and organizational information. Serves as functional expertise on the Joint Base Steering Committee, The Army Community Health Promotion Council and the Navy’s SEA Board of Directors (BOD). Served as the installation Violence Prevention Integrator while completing my Community Support Coordinator duties for more than one year.
POLICY AND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT: Developed and implemented JBSA Charter for CAIB and IDS on a Joint Base. Established the first ever JBSA Community Action Plan by including our Mission Partners in the creative process. Advance and expanded guidance to develop the resiliency training modules for the Master Resiliency Trainers (MRT) and the Resilience Training Assistants (RTA) for the installation. Implemented the Green Dot Program throughout JBSA with all Air Force Mission Partners.
