Provided advisory services as an independent consultant on multiple General Ledger migration projects in North America and internationally. Primary role consists of interacting with clients as well as technology partners to help define business process requirements, design overall accounting solution, write blueprint plan, determine value proposition, manage, troubleshoot, and implement conversion to the New GL.

Areas of responsibility specifically include solving complex document splitting issues, setting up parallel ledger solutions, interacting with SAP BackOffice, training, performing FI and CO configuration and developing programming code to facilitate the conversion process as well as actual migration execution.

Have participated in over 20 New GL Migration projects ranging from short durations such as 10 weeks to 1.5 years with all major scenarios. This has encompassed both full and part time participation. My role was dependent upon the customer situation and many times involved planning, the role of soluton architect, resolving technical issues, transitioning knowledge to project team participants and QA

FICO Consultant – SAP America December 1994 - March 2011

Nominated to Platinum Group (FICO) in the Northeast Region based out of Boston in 1997 by peers and management. This was due to demonstrating ability to work on multiple engagements in parallel, handle customer escalations after obtaining full-time implementation experience on numerous project life cycle rollouts. To keep this designation over 15 years required me to maintain strong product knowledge above a senior or principal consultant, teaching SAP courses, participate in sales activities (answering difficult questions that the sales staff could not) and engage in quality design reviews as well as mentoring less skilled resources while keeping high utilization.

Primary areas of specialty within FICO are the New GL, New GL Migration, EC-PCA, Special Ledger (FI-SL), CO-PA, FI-CO integration, reporting and custom development including user exit enhancements.
