At this job, everything was done the original way. The lottery was written down on paper. I had to work the register. While doing that, I had to cook food for the customers. Stocking was a very important task with this job. The most important thing was cleanliness. I would go in the evening time and stay until closing. Even before the pandemic had started, we would do a walk-thru. Wipe down counters, clean the bathrooms, and change the trash. We did that at the end of the shift as well. This was a very high-energy, fast-paced position. With this job, I had to be fast and accurate. They had a very direct approach. The main goal with them was to be able to go to the table and get the entire order right then. Which is what they liked to call the one-stop shop. We made our own drinks, salads, and desserts. If it wasn't one of our busiest days, we busted our own tables. Along with this, you had to have x amount of silverware rolled before you were allowed to leave. A lot of the time I would close, so I would mop the dining areas.

Additional Information
Starting from a young age, I learned how to really clean. A lot of people in my family are or were in the cleaning business at some point. I've helped my grandmother clean houses for five-plus years. Along with other relatives also.
I also began serving tables at my parents' familys' restaurant when I was 15. I still work at their locations from time to time.
