Gilbane Construction-Orlando office. 11/2018 4/2020-Covid 19 Cancel Project Responsibilities from end of pre-construction to ramping up projects. The 2 projects that I was responsible for are 2 Middle School Capital Improvement projects each with a value of approximately 6,000,000.00 each. Consisting of HVAC swap-outs in 8 buildings and 9 buildings respectively. These schools will be totally occupied during this period which will require temporary air conditioning to the various areas that the AHU’s feed. Additionally, a complete electrical redesign of all structures will be enacted including life safety systems. New roofs on 4 of the structures as well as waterproofing the brick facia also is included*
* I stayed in Orlando during the week and went home to Boynton Beach on the weekend. Supply chain and lack of subcontractor labor put contract on hold and I decided to come back to Palm Beach County/

All Phase Services- Del Ray, Florida 01/16 – 10/17 Full charge responsibility for all projects, primarily USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) generated. Maintained budgets, adhere to codes, and meet with various agencies in order to maintain client satisfaction
Projects were located throughout the US and included difficult environmental challenges including Alaska and Puerto Rico. Travelled extensively to maintain a viable operational tempo and sustain close contact with subcontractors and client. Handled the US military facilities reduction program
(FRP) involving the demolition and restoration of property, ground-up projects including the building of multi-family officer communities between 150 and 200 units to accommodate families of officers. These communities had all the trappings of a private community including swimming pools, playgrounds and retail/shopping areas. As Project Manager, I was responsible for the management of all aspects of construction for multiple projects, ranging from $500k to $30MM. I collaborated with the estimating and purchasing departments to set up projects and develop strategies for contract buyouts and budgeting. Worked in partnership with the field supervision to create and maintain project schedules and quality of workmanship. Responsible for management and training of staff, as well as design coordination with architects, designers and engineers to achieve successful on time completion and with client satisfaction. Aberdeen Proving Grounds- Maryland-Reconfiguration of a 85,000sf one story open structure into both office space and 35,000 sf of storage for military equipment Guam - Reconfiguration and ground -up construction of preexisting strip mall of 35,000sf to add 65,000 additional sf to accommodate first Walmart on the island. 2016-$14,000,000 Havana Club- 5,000 sf Total gut and renovation on the 55th floor /Miami Florida-Restaurant and private club- Freight elevator only went to 54th floor and all demolition debris and new construction had to be brought up on a small passenger elevator. Work was fast tracked-3 shifts 24 hours- completed in 12 weeks- 8,000,000 budget- Completed on time and within budget. Boca Raton-Palm Beach County - Complete Renovation of High School/Staged so that students could remain in school. Need for constant contact with Palm Beach County Stakeholders since we had to divert HVAC on a temporary bases to accommodate students. Additional work was a ground

Greynolds Park/Palm Beach County- Complete renovation of 400-acre Park under the supervision of Historical society as well as restoration of maintenance building that had Historical significance. Included in the project was 4,000 linear feet of oolite walls that had to be restored- Project amount-$5.000,000-

San Juan Beach Hotel-20,000 sf boutique hotel-Completed - Complete gut and renovation of an Art Deco protected hotel directly on Alton Rd in the heart of down-town South Beach 1000 Venetian Condominium Complex- Miami Florida-This complex condominium restoration project included multiple phases of planning, protection and sequencing. All restoration work was completed while the building was fully occupied
Fisher Island Club Hotel- Renovation of an ultra- exclusive hotel and amenities. Logistically Fisher Island is a private island with limited access by ferry. Therefore, a high focus was placed on coordination of labor and materials by ferry in order not to disturb the resident’s quality of life Completed on time within budget-
Viceroy Hotel- Miami Florida-Owner-The Related Group- This project consisted of an $ 8,000,000 high end build-out of 118 guest rooms, public spaces main lobby, ballrooms and the Night Club- “Club 50” on the 50th floor. All materials and fixtures specified by the owner/architect had to be special ordered from various locations in Europe and Asia-These supply issues had to be dealt with as a daily challenge
