I have been in Business Development for over five years but have been in Sales and Sales Management roles my entire career. I have had small and large teams to manage. In leadership roles (and in my current position), I am both an internal Recruiter and Business Development roles. I train staff on CRM usage and provide soft & CRM skills training and coaching to maximize performance. In my position at MECLABS, I was in a Businesses Development capacity for The Economist Education platform. I overachieved the quota. I currently perform both Recruiting and Business Development workflow.

I’m one of those rare professionals that love cold calling. I am even more impassioned in helping companies rebrand, refresh, and make new introductions. Relationship Management is about finding those elusive companies that have slipped through the cracks up until now and making introductions directly to decision-makers. Using social media platforms like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, and even LinkedIn Recruiter, I have successfully created leads that resulted in additional formal engagements and incremental revenue for many companies.

I'm a "Student of Sales."

As someone steeped in business acumen, I provide soft skills training/coaching and mentoring to the sales teams I support. I am often the liaison between the prospects and the Sales team. I first find the correct decision maker. I then engage in warm Discovery questions, perform capabilities presentations, see the pain points and fold-in solutions, and provide the necessary handoff to the representative in that region. I prove this same business-of-one function as a Recruiter delivering candidates to my CEO. It's invigorating to work, and I love having the opportunity to use my sales skills and expertise to make a positive impact on prospective customers that positively impact my company's goals. I often say: "Challenges (pain points) equals Opportunities."

It's exciting to solve these 'challenges' each day. Really.

I love structure and the challenge of connecting with people. I have a story to market, and it's my passion to get in front of your customers before your competitors do. I love when clients let their guard down and describe their challenges. One example is a customer using another vendor for their document destruction service. This company had a very antiquated way of billing its services and needed more consistency. After listening to their pain points, I found a delivery time that worked best for their unit, secured the exact driver for all locations, and worked with our Billing Manager to create a parent account where all sites would be billed under one service agreement each month. All I had the local representative do was go out and have the prospect sign the deal. This cost-saving solution boosted their billing department's productivity by 28%. In addition, this company even gave me the highest rating for anyone in my appointment during my review.
