Manufacturing and Support Team Member Staff 7/22 - Present

Manages the movement of raw materials for the Typhon and BELS program.

Assist with controlling and reducing costs and avoiding supply shortages for Typhon and BELS program.

Leads key process improvement efforts that drive positive change to leaner and more efficient dock operations, such as marking and segregating packages straight off of the truck to visually show urgent items needing processing first, creating a swim lane on the dock for these urgent items, and utilizing a shared Box file for collaborative status updates on aged/ grief material.

Prioritizes daily and hourly workload with the Baltimore dock team by communicating which material (out of 1,000 packages per month valued at several millions of dollars) is urgent to process first to keep the BIRD production line moving.

Strategically supports the ramp-up of engineering builds within the BIRD program due to enabling expedition of critical material from the dock to floor from an average of 5 days to 1 day.

Presents daily status updates to and collaborates closely with multiple departments to ensure material moves smoothly through the dock, such as the stockroom, inspection, production planning, and engineering.

Constructively navigate complex issues, and influence senior management on relevant topics.

Coordinating with the end users (engineers, PC, production supervisors) on the priority of orders needed on a daily basis to verify what orders are HOT.
