Summer objective: I am currently looking to expand my knowledge on politics and law. Gaining this knowledge during my college years will allow me to be prepared for my life after college.
SCHOOL
University of Gonzaga, Spokane, WA – class of 2025
Midway through Sophomore year– currently, a double major in Criminology and Political Science. Criminology and Politics has always intrigued me, learning about the minds of a criminal and why they act that way. Learning about our government and the deep intricacies of the system is something I can never learn enough of. Once I got to college, I had the opportunity to take a third world development class, which gave me a huge interest in other countries' politics. I am currently in the pre-law program at Gonzaga, and I plan to attend law school somewhere east after my undergrad.
Current GPA: 3.65
Petaluma High School, Petaluma, CA – class of 2021
Cumulative GPA: 3.7
EXPERIENCE:
Target, Petaluma, CA – 2021
Target was the first place I was employed at and I did it before my first year in college. I had the responsibility of showing up and completing various tasks throughout my shift. In my role, I stocked shelves under a strict time crunch, loaded up online orders for customers to pick up, and helped customers find items. I developed a strong work ethic from this job along with the ability to work with customers.
Flipside Thrift, Rohnert Park, CA – 2022-2023
I had the opportunity to work as a cashier at a thrift store. However, I had to do much more than just check people out. I helped with almost all customers that had questions, took countless donations to the back, and picked up donations from people’s houses. This really gave me the skills to talk to almost anyone and to help people who need the help from thrift stores.
OTHER ACTIVITIES:
Other Activities:
Sports: I have had the great opportunity to work with many different teams from baseball, basketball, flag football, and soccer. Through these teams, I was able to serve as captain for a majority of the years. It was valuable to be named captain during these years. Not only did the people on the team pick me to be captain, but they also allowed me to lead. I learned how to lead during these years of being captain, mainly in baseball. In my other sports, I learned to be a role player and do what was needed of me to help the team. This was also valuable as it is a skill I will need in my career.
