I have worked in the community as a self-employed Private Duty Caregiver for many years, and in a hospital as a PCT. While working 70 daytime hours with one private client I would go straight to evening classes. I completed 60 hours of continuing education and passed a phlebotomy technician program. While working 50 evening hours with another private client, I also attended full time day classes and received continuing education in nursing assistant. I also attended PCT classes and training at a local hospital. I am certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
