As the sole orthopedic technician at Boca Raton Regional Hospital it is my responsibility to perform splinting, casting, set up traction, apply braces, maintain polar care and continuous passive motion (cpm) machinery, implement physician orders, perform wound care, and provide all nursing staff and resident physicians with in-services on orthopedic care.
06/2016 – current: Jackson Health System Miami, Fl.
As a per-diem orthopedic technician in the rehabilitation clinic it is my responsibility to service all adult and pediatric trauma clients by performing series casting, splints, apply braces, implement physician orders, application of all orthopedic soft goods, and perform wound care.
