Process/Product Engineer, Schlumberger, Houston, Texas (Aug’11 –Present)

Assist in the review of customer inquiries / tender requirement, proposal preparation, and design of process equipment packages (i.e., Desalters, Dehydrators, Metercells, Separators, Corrugated Plate Interceptors, Induced Gas Flotation Units, Hydrocyclones, Nutshell Filters, Decant Tanks, Decanter Centrifuges, Coarse Strainers, Ultra filtration, Nano filtration, Multi-Media Filters, De-aeration towers for seawater, RO plant, SRU Plant, CIP, Chemical injection,Crystallizer, Air Scour Systems, Dispersed Oil Extraction Units(DOX) in Ethylene Plants, CFUs).

Work on Capital Projects up to $100 millions.

Evaluate customer inquiries and specifications and select or recommend process or equipment designs

Participate in client HAZOP and internal HAZOP.

Generate Control Narrative, Control Philosophy, Cause & Effect, and Logic Diagram for DCS/PLC Input.

Produce Installation, Operating (Start-up and Shut-down) and Maintenance Instruction manuals, including lists for Consumables, Special Tools, Lubricants, and Utilities.

Prepare instructions for Long term Storage of equipment.

Perform final review of Project Job Manuals, Project Schedule.

Develop equipment data sheets and estimate equipment weights.

Develop “deliverables” and cost estimating, design engineering, and drafting.

Coordinates engineering work relating to manufacturing processes and review the estimating activities of the various departments involved with the proposal to prepare the cost estimate.
