Traffic Supervisor – A distribution position in which 8 employees reported to me. Job functions responsible for included, 2500 shipments per day via Fed Ex, UPS and LTL. Input of new product data into three computer systems, 1) Abbott centralized data base, 2) Order Entry System and 3) Distribution System. Also included processing of computerized orders for pick pack (99 employees). Worked closely with the Credit, Planning, Marketing, Order Entry and Quality Departments as all of their issues funneled through the Traffic Department (Now called Logistics) Direct responsibilities included, scheduling a 2 shift operation, performance reviews, counseling, writing training manuals and successful management of maximum 10% overtime and 10% absenteeism.

Customer Service Analyst – Received, entered and shipped orders to International Affiliates (15) with direct orders to over 99 countries. Duties included acquiring product availabilities from planning, processing country requests for special labelling, sending and tracking orders to warehouse for packing while balancing expiration dates on paperwork which could include 1) import licenses, 2) letters of credit and 3) controlled drug licenses which varied depending upon country involved.

Forecast/Inventory Analyst – Analyzed orders versus forecasted requirements and issued performance reports to management.

Secretary to Medical Doctor – In addition to normal secretarial duties, I prepared and shipped both medicine and patient paperwork for double-blinded psychotropic medicines used in clinical trials. Kept track of individual patient files for each investigator.
