WORK EXPERIENCE

NEWMAN CHIROPRACTIC

Office Manager for Dr. Shanlyn Newman.

Scheduled appointments, canceled appointments, made call backs, & reminder calls

Collected the patients payments and checked them out

Ran credit card payments and kept the ledger updated

Balanced the books at end of day, ran reports and made sure everything balanced

Answered phones, made copies of insurance cards and driver licenses

Kept track of the supplies and let Dr. Newman know what we needed

Did the monthly insurance medical billing and had it completed by end of month

Set up the bank deposit for Dr Newman every Friday by noon

I actually did the job of 4 different people.

Worked part time as a temporary bookkeeper under the guidance of the head accountant, John Sowers

Entered new accounts into quick books, filing, set up new customer files and entered all the payables

I also did some accounting work for Mr. Sowers outside of Whiskey Row Screen Printing, at Johns personal office. I regret that Mr. Sowers has passed away a few yrs ago. He was a really good man and boss.
