Supervised four Cost Accountants in developing cost for existing products and new products. Reported to Controller.

Anderson Bolling Manufacturing Company – Goshen, IN Managed two separate divisions with completely separate product lines. Drove divisional profits for both divisions, one a tier one Automotive supplier and the other a Store Display Fixture Company, during first year in this position by cutting costs and identifying duplicate processes for both divisions and combining into one process. Negotiated union contracts with the International Machinist Union that allowed for huge productivity increases. Developed a plan to divest the company of one Division, that did not fit the overall strategic plan of the Company, and sold that Division personally doing the due diligence for the sale. Defined divisional strategy for profit and trained Supervisors and Management in what was identified as "Sudden Change". Was a Member of Corporate Executive Management team. Studied Quality disciplines and implemented program to improve quality ratings with the Automotive Big Three. Achieved Highest Quality Rating Awarded By Chrysler which directly helped improve sales to Chrysler.

South Bend Manufacturing Company a Divison of Allied Companies – South Bend, IN As General Manager of this Tier One Supplier was tasked with making a profit that would make the company attractive to buy. This was a task that had to be completed in a short time frame and in a plant of UAW employees. Developed a plan during the first three months with the help of plant floor Supervisors to bust a system of quotas that had been in place for years. As Vice President of Operations developed a plan, using Total Quality Management tools, to increase Sales. Developed and implemented a training plan in Quality Improvement to ensure high quality products delivered to our customers. This program grew Company Sales by 31%. Developed a Scheduling philosophy that allowed for a 99% on time deliver. Developed and trained employees in Continuous Improvement techniques that drove a ten percent bottom line. Purchased a small share of this company. Learned by the example of the Owner the importance of community involvement and became very active in the Large Manufacturing community of our small city.
