Resume:

Joseph Rader

Corbin, KY ***** adv429@r.postjobfree.com +1-606-***-****

I am looking for a career that is more suitable for my 20+ years of managing, supervising, operating, P&L, and Human Relations experience. I have always been a positive leader, from being a QB all through school years to also being our Senior Class President @CorbinHighScool. I have owned, managed, and supervised many companies in the past greatly increasing the margins of their P&L’s. Once I come into a company and learn how the operational standards work, I will develop analytical and problem solving skills for that position to help increase the company's profitability. A few companies not mentioned later that I have co-owned and managed are as follows: Bee Creek Market (grocery retail & gas), M&R properties (which held over 12 properties with 3 business rentals), Computer Renew LLC., and Rash Waterproofing. I also owned and operated Rader’s Classic Touch until I left for college where I earned my B.AS and also minored in Business Management at Chattanooga State while maintaining a GPA of 4.0. I performed all the budgeting and reports at JMPC, RPR LLC., Rader's Classic Touch, Rash Waterproofing, and Computer Renew. I can learn and implement any reporting software programs (MES, SAP ERP, TMS, QMS) that a company may use. I am also familiar with ISO-9001 & ISO-22000. Over time I can seek out key points to help profitability and cost reduction. I understand how the supply chain and truck shipments work. I also understand how to use lean management and change control on a daily basis as I perform these tasks at my current job. I have great understanding in mechanical knowledge and when confronted with unfamiliar territory, I can read and understand how a machine may work and can usually find the problem at hand. A safe work environment is an absolute must for me to reduce unnecessary work related injuries. I was OSHA 30 hour certified and believe training employees on proper safety techniques can and will prevent these injuries from occurring. If you look at my life’s work history, I have honestly been managing and owning businesses since I was 18 years old. I feel comfortable coaching and training for I have done it in many fields. I can also adjust these abilities to different personalities. I am in a life changing transitional stage of my career at this time in my life and I am willing to relocate, drive, or do whatever is necessary to make my life’s last career be the one that I retire from.

Inventory Control/ Returns & Credits Manager

LGC & Logistics - London, KY

February 2017 to October 2022

I started out working in the receiving at LGC. Worked in receiving for 2 years. Went to shipping where I was an order filler for around ten months when I applied for an inventory control/ credits job. My first duty was only returns and giving the stores credit for items that were either mispicked or broken products. On a day to day basis I replenish warehouse stock and perform visual quality assurance inspections on products. I am the only person that has the authority to do all QA inspections. I would also reconstruct displays before packaging to send to the stores to ensure standard quality. I also would arrange logistics throughout the non-perishable warehouse. This is to check if any products have poor integrity such as broken glass, spilled liquids, or dangerous chemicals near the cases. If so, I would take them out of their assigned slot and back to my area to repackage and credit any necessary items. I was also responsible searching our TMS to find what area each driver was in to get low stock items to our most important of customers. Within assigned areas of the warehouse, we had many vendors who would rent areas of the warehouse to place their products for sale to our stores. Of course by now you have realized we were a large scale 3PL who served 9 surrounding states also while maintaining most of our local IGA stores here in Kentucky.

Pest Control & WDO License

OSHA Construction Safety and Health - Nashville, TN

January 2015 to December 2017

WDO/ WDR Certification

These inspections were needed for banks to approve home loans for the buyer.

QA Inspector & Internal Auditor/ Blueprint Specialist

Metal Products Incorporated MPI - Corbin, KY January 2015 to December 2017

November 2015 to January 2017

Myself, along with one other employee were the only two at this company that could read and understand the blueprints for certain metal fabrication applications. Most of them pertaining to window channel and metal door fabrications. This ended up making me a quality control person as well. It was a little more money than working on the production line. This company used the Netsuite ERP system for shipping and keeping up with our manufacturing products and components numbers.

Shipping and Paint Manager

EKD - London, KY

November 2014 to November 2016

This job was great because most of the locations we went to were scale pay jobs. On any given day, I managed 2 to 6 people depending on the job scheduling for that day. I was the only one who was allowed the company truck and was responsible for loading proper materials needed for the assigned jobs each day. 95% of our work was in Winchester. I would pick the guys up at EKD main office in London and drive to Lexington. It was my responsibility for getting the crew to work each day. I would pick up the company truck and usually have to pick up at least two co-workers every morning before leaving for the worksite (usually located in Winchester, KY). We also had a machine shop where we would stop and help gather critical parts if needed for the current job. Made sure all the proper tools and equipment was loaded before leaving the warehouse and machine shop. I didn’t have to stand over top my guys because they knew very well how to do it. I only had to make the unfinished stucco work because the other two workers usually didn’t understand how to do that. I was one of the few certified boom lift operators at EKD also with 30 hours OSHA certified. The paint department at EKD was only a trial period and it disbanded after about a year or two.

Quality Assurance Specialist/ Shipment Auditing

Aisin Automotive Casting AAC - Corbin, KY February 2014 to November 2014

This was the first job I took when I moved back to Kentucky and I performed end-of-the-line inspections on all the transmission casings at AAC. After testing and training, I was assigned to Quality Control and they felt that I would be a good fit for this job from day 1. I performed full visual inspections on each transmission using a rotisserie device. I would also perform hydrostatic pressure tests to make sure there was no leaks on the casings before they were shipped on truck to the assembly plant. Anytime one of the other two end-of-line inspectors would find a crack or see something unusual with their casings they would come to me so I could take the product to control room to perform these pressure tests. I was only with AAC for about 9 months and as far as I know I never knew of myself sending out any products that were defective. AAC ran a Microsoft ERP when I worked there and I can’t remember the exact name or version.

Manager/Owner

Jody Millard pest Control LLC, M&R Properties LLC., RR Fabricating, Rader’s Pest Raiders &

Waterproofing LLC - Chattanooga, TN

May 2001 to January 2014

I worked at the two largest revenue companies for around 14 years. While operating JMPC, which was the most profitable), I also managed and owned several other smaller companies that are also listed in the intro. I had sold all the other companies to focus my time here. I was the face for taking care of customer complaints and visiting customers homes to troubleshoot any of their problems they may be having with their technicians or homes. I also performed all of the home inspections for banks who required WDO/ WDR certifications before the closings could be finalized.. I developed and managed over 26 routes and managed the 5 office workers that took care of the day to day functions such as payroll, hiring, and letgo of employees. After I took over all the budgeting for this company it soared to become the largest pest control company in the southeast. I also generated all new business leads and developed a great rapport with all new and old customers as well.

One of the things I am most proud of in my life is that I developed a template in the computer to send out with our new pretreated home bills. In less than 3 years of using my new billing system, the total revenue of this company grew from $780 a year to $20.8M a year. Many other companies copied my outside service templates. I am very proud of how quickly the company grew after implementing my new system. I also performed internal audit quality check on our technicians and their treatments.

When dealing with restricted chemicals, SAFETY is a first hand must abide. I also performed all EHS compliance inspections along with documentation, ensuring that our company followed all EPA and Dep. of Agriculture ISO 1750 standards of approved chemicals. On all treatments, the chemical mixtures and amounts had to be precise. Percentages and gallons used were monitored closely by governing agencies. It was a daily focus to keep all paperwork in compliance. I had to continuously check the technician’s work vehicles for all proper PPE equipment. All procurement planning and expenses was performed by myself alongside an accountant who helped on a monthly basis. I also managed our warehouse where we kept all our chemicals and extra PPE to keep up with extra inventory and keep track of dates. I always treated my employees with respect. Positive criticism goes a long way in getting all your employees to perform at an optimal level.

Plant Manager/Operations Manager

Soddy-Daisy Falling Water Water Treatment Plant - Soddy-Daisy, TN

March 1999 to June 2000

I was the Plant Operator which was an important job because I was responsible for making sure all the water towers in several districts were filled nightly with treated water. Had to keep an eye on the SAP ERP system at the time (not sure which system it was). I also had to regularly check the chemicals if the SAP system was showing that the levels were falling. I also kept all water towers cleaned and maintained during the weekends. There was only 3 Plant Operators that kept the plant running 24/7 7 days a week. It was a complete one person job back then but I would bet more than one person at a time works at the plant now. This was the first time I was trained on and learn how to run SAP ERP systems. It had been so long I had completely forgot about this job and it’s new age systems back in 1999

Warehouse Team Member

Trucks & Trailers USA - Chattanooga, TN May 1998 to November 1998

This position was a part time job while I was in college. Worked in the warehouse where I helped with shipping and unloading incoming trailers and parts that our technicians needed throughout the day. I would help out on any area where they needed me from answering the phones to putting trailer and hitches together for the next installation.
