The project:

Create code for server that uses shopify api to add/update links in shopify product pages. Shopify product page was updated using shopify liquid scripting to display links as pictures. This project was necessary because shopify does not have this particular feature. Shopify has a feature to display similar products. (Crislu didn't want this) The project I completed for them displays products that are accurately related to the product. Shopify introduced API versioning, all code had to be audited and updated to use the newest API version. Worked based on; PHP, MySQL, shopify liquid scripting, html, css, shopify scss, javascript, jQuery. Code and DB is hosted in; Amazon Web Services.

Shopify Developer / Full Stack Developer

Jgoodin originally had its own colo with servers. ( no cPanels ) Some servers assigned to me already had a full lamp setup, other servers that were new, I needed to update them to full lamps. Sites were based on OpenCart, X-cart and MongoDB (noSQL). OpenCart and X-cart are based on a MVC design.

Migrated customers, products and orders to Shopify. Updated liquid script and javascript on home page, product pages, collection pages, and cart page. Setup code and automation to manage products, inventory, orders, and mailing list campaigns. Setup code and automation that creates feed files for their wholesale customers. Setup bridge between the Shopify API and their Acumatica accounting system. jGoodin owns/controls 8 websites, the server is the bridge between their accounting system and these 8 sites. Shopify introduced API versioning, all code had to be audited and updated to use the newest API version. Worked based on; PHP, MySQL, shopify liquid scripting, html, css, shopify scss, javascript, jQuery. jGoodin code is currently hosted in; WHM, cPanel.

Worked in the start up of Jewelscent and was part of a tech team. Jewelscent originally had its own colo for the retail site and local database. OpenCart was used for the retail site that customers use. The OpenCart work was in; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MVC. Netsuite API for records keeping and inventory adjustments. Scout SFT API for inventory.

Setup and coding of API's to connect the above issues to each other. Code is now hosted in a cPanel.

My freelance work started in May 2007. At the start of this my title/service was something like web site design or web developer. Over time as I learned new things and worked in teams my title grew to Full Stack Developer, some people title me DevOps. Most of my work is related to my "PHP Developer" title. But I do know how to setup LAMP servers which is my other title "Sys Admin." I have had odd jobs or one off jobs related to working on websites since 2007. I worked in almost all parts of the assembly line. After that I worked on quality assessment and calibration of the products that the assembly line made. For a short time, about 3 or 4 months I repaired circuit boards. My last title there was Supervisor.
