• Typically day start with reviewing and responding emails/ chats, collaborating with colleagues, then a day consist of making patient and doctor calls average 120 calls. What I do in patient care apart from Assisting patients by answering the questions they may have is following up to making sure they are adhering to their medications, informing them their doctor has made a change in their therapy incase there is one. Have them contact their doctor incase the doctor needs them to, inform them to update insurance incase it has expired etc. will also contact doctor to get patients prescription, sometimes we may call back for clarification if needed. This is part of our meditation processing. I should not forget to mention that we use of multiple software to process these medications.
• One of the most concern when dealing with clients information is HIPPA so maintaining patient records to our company is of high priority . We always make sure we are properly managing personals and medical information following privacy regulations.
• One on the most important thing I have learned in my career in talking to customers on the phone is you have to have the ability to listen and care about people, identify their need’s and explain how you/your company can help them. My favorite part of my previous job is helping people and save lives. I believe in saving lives, it reminds our patients of taking their medications. Education
