6/2001 – Present - Property Book Manager/Logistics Supervisor

Serve as the Jacobs/USA EPG Property Book Manager/Logistics Supervisor, oversight and responsibility for large and complex FAR compliant property book worth over $70M in assets. Responsibilities to include, supply, material, property accountability, acquisition, receiving, shipping, inventory, distribution, storage, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of equipment. Administer property management system, with extensive knowledge on TMDE/Lifting Devices, SLAMIS, TDA and Durable listings. Provide property accountability and maintain records that show current value of property record, item identification, authorizations, on-hand balances, property condition, and location of all nonexpendable and other specially designated property. Knowledge of ordering, receiving, and shipping of specialized equipment. Ensure on time deliveries, review documents/purchase orders, match packing slips to purchase order part numbers and resolve order delinquencies. Initiate audits on lost property and conduct investigation to determine cause of inventory discrepancies for report of survey action. Perform periodic system analysis to determine adequacy of Department of the Army and local procedures and methods in requesting authorizations, receiving, record keeping, issuing, storing, maintaining, preserving, reutilizing and disposing of supplies and property. Implement and interprets supply regulations and directives. Schedule inventories, workloads adjusting records and effects changes in operation techniques. Conduct usage checks and special inspections to insure proper use of material and equipment. Conduct inspections of storage facilities to assure physical security, economic handling, and safety. Assist DCMA auditors and inspectors of the installation and higher headquarters by explaining the installations overall accountability policies and procedures. Implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Confer and coordinate with representatives of other elements and federal, state, and municipal agencies in matters relating to property disposal. Ensure that disposal instructions received from General Services Administration (GSA) are followed and disposal is made expeditiously and properly documented to allow for change of accountability. Ensure that property, with no requirements for reutilization or donation, is turned in to the nearest Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO), or destroyed, as appropriate. Familiar with all DoD forms, and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
