I worked for my boss when he owned R.J.'s for 7 years, then he opened Splash in 2009 and I worked for him there. I assisted managing at both places, doing various things like ordering, scheduling, running the website, making and taking drink orders, entertaining guests, ringing through transactions, etc. In 2010 a new Splash location opened in Merton, WI and I managed the bar there doing the above and more! Unfortunately, that location wasn't as successful as the one in Oconomowoc so he closed that one! I left the company in July of 2012, I was looking for more than the company could offer me! When I worked at Ponderosa, I worked almost every position available except dishwasher (even though I'd have to help out at times!). I was hired to be a Shift Coordinator and started the training to do so, but I had gotten pregnant and they thought it was best for me to wait until after I had the baby to finish my training. After the baby came, they had found somebody to take the position instead of me. I wound up leaving for bartending because it worked out better for my situation. Education
