Art Experience: I’m a graduate of SVA. My Sequential Arts professor was the Great Will Eisner, creator of the Spirit and the father of the Graphic Novel. My professional Art Experience lies with Time Mirror Magazines, United Artist Music, NYU’s ACF Micro-Computer Lab, Merrill Lynch, and Citibank.

Teaching Martial Arts (Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate) to young adolescent children at the New York Edge After-School @ P.S. /I.S. 384 Frances E. Carter in Brooklyn on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
September 2019 – October 2022
Taught Sequential Art and Visual Arts to young adolescent children at the Mott Hall School, Washington Heights NY. Monday and Tuesday afternoons.

Promoted to 5th-degree black belt (godan) in Eizan-Ryu Jujitsu under Shihan Felix Berrios. This style includes joint locks, Judo throws, and self-defense against multiple opponents with knives and clubs.

Taught Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate to very young children MMCC- EVCS after-school program. Children learned Tai Sabaki (body movement and body shifting), kata, self-defense, and Ukemie waza.
April 9th, 2017 – Shorin-Kai International Gasshuku, this seminar went over some of the Oyo Bunkai contained in the traditional Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate Kata; this get together also included Jujutsu, Kobujutsu, and Jiyu Kumite. At this prestigious event, I was promoted to the rank of (Hachidan) Eighth Degree Black Belt by Grand Master Charles Bonét.
