Barbee Griffis *** Lake Ridge Drive
*****@*****.*** Baxley, GA 31513
Position: Medical Coder (remote)
Career Objective
As you can see above, my name is Barbee Griffis. I recently completed my course in Medical Coding online through Auburn University. I am currently studying and preparing to sit for my AAPC certification exam which I intend to complete no later than the end of April. I have always had an intense interest in the medical field. As a result, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and practiced as an MT (ASCP) for 10 years. Life circumstances resulting in my being a single mother led me to enter the field of education, however, even there, I remained tied to the medical field teaching Biology and developing and instituting the Anatomy & Physiology course at our local high school. After 32 years of teaching, I decided to retire from education but wish to continue working in a profession that supports my love for the medical field and allows me the opportunity to work from home. I am a dedicated, enthusiastic person and have always possessed extremely high work standards and ethics. It is my opinion that I have the ability to be an asset to your organization and am seeking a remote position with you. I realize I do not have the experience you may "require," but I am certain if you will analyze my work history and peruse the skills I have acquired therein you will see that I am the candidate for whom you are looking. After reviewing my resume, please contact me if you have any further questions or interest in pursuing my employment.
