I was in charge of six 4 yr olds from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm
• i taught them their alphabet
• how to write their names
• counting from 1-100
• their addresses and birthdays
• made sure they had a balanced breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack
• light custodial duties i.e. cleaning the kitchen, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and taking the trash out a couple times a day In the afternoons from 2:30~5:30 I had 4th, 5th and 6th graders
• i made sure they had a snack
• helped with homework
• monitored play time inside or outside depending on weather

• On a day to day basis i was responsible for maintaining, operating and repairing installed firefighting systems and equipment as well as damage control equipment. I was personally in charge of the ships main repair locker and personnel.
• I was a member of the ships flying squad. We were a small elite team of members from each department who were responsible for rapid responses to shipboard emergencies and catastrophies no matter the time, day or night.
• I created an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the 300+ enlisted personnels shipboard training and testing results, updating them quite frequently. I was in charge of the central repair locker on board. I helped establish our inventory methods as well as ordering and storing our inventory.
• I was responsible for training shipboard personnel in the operation, maintenance and repair of the damage control systems and equipment and life saving devices. We had weekly training sessions while inport and almost daily training when we were underway.I was also responsible for teaching and training the ships' personnel i various firefighting methods.
• I participated in performing emergency repairs to decks, bulkheads, structures and hulls by pipe patching, plugging and shoring.
• I participated in training the shipboard personnel in chemical, biological and radiological defense.
• I acted as the ships fire marshal and main fire fighting leader.
**I have worked anywhere and everywhere from quiet p-ways to noisy messdecks to incredibly hot and loud auxiliary and engine rooms to the flight deck as part of the helicopter refueling team.
**I have also worked in alot of different positions. From custodial work, sweeping, mopping and taking out the trash to cooking for the crew to doing laundry in addition to my day to day duties in my professional compacity. I work well with others, but I also work well on my own. I can be very task oriented and driven. I like to be clean and organized. Filing is a happy time for me. I like things labeled and put where they should be.
