I hired on with Dyn Corp in 1979 after serving in the Air Force as an airframe mechanic level 5, working on C-130’s and KC-135’s. I obtained my F.A.A. airframe license August 1985. I worked for Sikorsky International from 1990-1992 as an Airframe Technical Instructor in Saudi Arabia, KKMC. I have also been a Leadman/Inspector for a helicopter blade shop in Grand Prairie, Texas. I have a Hazmat Officer Training Course License, and a Secret Clearance to 2017. I was on the Blackhawk RESET program when it started and worked as a team player. I like to stay busy and always move to where I am needed to keep the program going forward. I have over 40 years’ experience as an airframe mechanic.I am looking forward to working with the Dyn Corp Mod team, and the opportunities presented therein. Overseas experience; Puerto Rico, Korea, Philippines, England, Germany, and Saudi Arabia.
Skills; Repair assessment and application. Sheet metal layout, fabrication, and riveting installation. Fiberglass and Kevlar bonding with appropriate chemicals, 956 and 9313. Hi Lok removal, sizing, and installation. Heat treatment of metals to proper state. Electrical wiring installation while working for OLR. OLR airframe modification of the aircraft. Helicopter torques and re-torques while performing dailies. Assisting mechanics in removal and installation of main rotor blades, apu’s, main gearbox, and tail rotor gearbox. I also coordinate repairs with the local engineers. Have been involved in heavy structure, firewall, support beams, and fittings. I also have fuel cell confined entry space training, and have removed and replaced fuel cells.
Recent experience for 2 years has been as a member of a maintenance support group for the Ft. Campbell MED-E-Vac program with C co. 7/101, as an airframe/mechanic involved in all types of ground readiness support. I remove the equipment, repair it, and then reinstall it.
Working on Blackhawk and Boeing helicopters at Ft.Campbell, Ky for Dyn Corp since 1984. Lockheed Martin from 2013 to 2016, AECOM from 2016 to 2019, and for Dyn Corp from January 2020 to the present time.
Aircraft worked on include C-130, HH-3, CH-3, CH-47D and F, A-7, AH-1H, UH-1H, OH-58C and D, AH-64, UH60A, L, and M.
